Payouts and fees

Where the money goes when a market resolves, worked out with real numbers. Nothing here is a policy we can change on you mid-market: the pool sizes are public on every market page, so you can recompute any payout yourself.

Parimutuel, not a bookmaker

Every YES bet goes into one pool and every NO bet into the other. When the market resolves, the losing pool is split among the winners in proportion to what each of them put in.

There is no house taking the other side of your bet. We do not set odds and we do not have a position. The price you get is decided by how the other bettors positioned themselves, which is why a lonely side pays so much better than a crowded one.

The math

worked example, a bet under $100 (fee 10%):

YES pool: 1,000,000 · NO pool: 400,000 · YES wins

your YES bet: 100,000

your share of the YES pool = 100,000 / 1,000,000 = 10%

profit = 10% of the NO pool = 40,000

fee = 10% of that profit = 4,000

you receive = 100,000 + 40,000 - 4,000 = 136,000

Two things fall out of that. Your stake always comes back untouched when you win. And your return depends entirely on the ratio between the two pools, so betting the unpopular side of a market is where the real multiples live.

The fee only touches profit

It is charged on the profit portion only, never on the amount you bet. Lose a market and you pay no fee at all, you simply lose the bet. Win one and the fee comes out of the winnings, which means it is impossible to finish a winning market with less than you staked.

The fee depends on how much you bet

Bigger stakes pay a smaller cut. The tier is set by the dollar value of your bet at the moment you place it, using the live token price, and it is written into the bet. The token can double before the market resolves; your fee does not move.

You see your exact tier on the review screen before you sign. If the token price cannot be read at that moment, the bet is quoted at the top tier rather than guessed, and you can wait and try again.

Where the fee goes: burned, all of it

Bets are placed in $LEI, so fees are collected in $LEI. When a market resolves, the full fee from that market is sent from the treasury to the burn address (0x000...dEaD), where nobody holds the key. The platform keeps none of it.

Every burn is a normal on-chain transfer out of the public treasury wallet, so the amount taken in fees and the amount burned can be checked against each other on any explorer.

When you get paid

As soon as the market resolves. A background process sends the transfer to the same wallet the bet came from, and the transaction is on-chain and visible on any explorer. There is no claim button in this product, and if anyone ever sends you a link asking you to claim a LEITAI payout, it is a scam.

Refunds

When a market voids, every confirmed bet is refunded in full, with zero fee, the same automatic way. The conditions that void a market are listed on how markets resolve.
