Green day
Does the trader close the day up or down. The one everybody starts with.
The question
“Will Cented close the day in profit?”
That is the exact wording used on the market card. It is frozen when the market opens.
What you are betting on
The simplest question on the board: at 00:00 UTC, is the trader's realized PnL for the day above zero. Not by how much. Just green or red.
This is the market that works even when nothing is happening, which is why it exists for every trader on the board every single day. If you only ever bet one thing here, it is this.
How it resolves
This is the same text printed on every market of this type, generated from the same source as the product. If it ever disagrees with a market page, the market page is wrong and you should say so publicly.
Edge cases that decide money
- Zero counts as NO. A trader who does not trade at all closes at exactly zero PnL, and zero is not profit.
- Realized only. Bags that went up on paper and were never sold do not count, on either side.
- It is the sum across every wallet the source tracks for that trader, not one address. A trader who prints on one wallet and bleeds on another is judged on the total.
Reading the market
The YES side is crowded on names with a reputation, which is exactly why the NO side pays better on them. A trader who is green four days out of five still hands you a fat multiple on the fifth, and you only need to be right about the day, not about the trader.
