Top KOL

Not just a good day. The best day on the whole leaderboard.

The question

King of the day: who finishes number one?

That is the exact wording used on the market card. It is frozen when the market opens.

What you are betting on

One trader against the entire tracked field. It resolves YES only if they have the single highest 1-day PnL on the KOL leaderboard when the day closes.

This is the longest shot on the board and it pays like one. Being great is not enough here. Everyone else has to be worse on the same day.

How it resolves

Pick the trader you think ends the day with the highest realized PnL across the whole card. Everyone who picked the king splits the pot of everyone who did not, in proportion to their stake. The king is decided at 00:00 UTC by the same token-by-token read that settles every other market (Mobula). A dead tie at the top, nobody on the king, or everybody on the king: the market voids and every bet is refunded in full. The fee (up to 10%, lower for bigger stakes) applies only to winners' profit and all of it is burned.

This is the same text printed on every market of this type, generated from the same source as the product. If it ever disagrees with a market page, the market page is wrong and you should say so publicly.

Edge cases that decide money

  • Second place pays nothing. There is no partial credit for a monster day that someone else beat.
  • The field is whoever the leaderboard tracks, so a huge day from a name nobody was watching still knocks your trader off the top.
  • The crown is decided at the 00:00 UTC close, not at any point during the day. Leading at 20:00 UTC is worth nothing by itself.

Reading the market

Almost always a NO market, and the honest read is that the NO side is correct almost every time. The reason to take YES is that when it hits, the multiple is the biggest on the site. Size it like the lottery ticket it is.
